Here are my step by step instructions for replacing the right lower motor mount in the Volvo S70. These instructions should be the same for the 850 models.

Nice write up. Wish the pictures were a little bigger so you do not have to click on them to see them in detail. Still good either way though.

 

Man, you guys are my hero (FCP). I found that mount bad Wednesday, jumped on-line and ordered the part from you guys and it was here Friday, day before Christmas with my daughter in town to pick up her car. I was so glad to see that part Friday I could almost kissed our mail lady (I gave her a tip). I was trying to get done with the S70 so my daughter could have her car back without any issues and you guys saved the day.

I do those pictures like that so it is easier to print. When you have big pics you end up printing a lot of pages and using a lot of ink. I think most people can do the job with no pics, just the details, but I like to add the pics for assistance for those that have NO IDEA what they are doing. I like to think a 14 year old could do the job with my instructions.

BTW, I'm amazed at the guys that do the videos. Phew! I need printed instructions in hand.

 

I am glad everything worked out so well with the part getting to you so fast. We try to always go above and beyond so it is nice to here things like this.

As for the write up, that makes sense. I normally print my laptop with me so I like the bigger pictures but I can see if I were to print them it would be a pain.

 

I'm way to messy for that. I have to goop my digital camera after taking photos for the instructions. I couldn't imagine how dirty my couputer would be. Plus I'm pretty clumsy and would likely destroy it. I have thought about trying to do a video or do the instructions while I did the work and it simply would not pan out right. I would break a laptop or spill something on it or something would happend to destroy it.

 

A video is hard to do by yourself. I have tried.

I have not had an issue with the laptop so far but you do bring up another good point.

 

Added a video to this subject. Did the job on an S70 but it's pretty much the same. The actual part/mount may be a little different but the process is the same.
