I noticed that Volvos rust VERY little. I was just wondering how many of you have rust on your Volvos. I'm talking about body rust or even any rust under the car in any places. I'm just curious. They seem to stay pretty solid.

My exhaust tip was rusted pretty bad.

Other than that, it's mostly nuts/bolts that are rusted on.

 

You haven't seen some 240s then.

Yeah actually I have seen a few rotten ones. But that being said, the 240 is one of many Volvo models, and just that model alone (in my opinion) does not ruin the solid reputation of all the other models; 740, 760, 940, 850 etc.

 

My 850 had very little rusts, except the tail pipe tip like RedTurbo's. Even though the car had a number of chipping spots, I did not see rust on those spots.
