Springs are here and installed. I love the feel, did not lower the car like I thought it would but I was worried there anyway.

Ok, here we go. Before and after pictures plus some spring photos.

I can see the difference!
Give it a few days to settle then you should see more of a difference.
My rear H&R's took a while to settle.

Default Lowering Springs or just heavy duty

Boost Creep, wasn't sure if they were lowering springs or just heavy duty. I put some heavy duty springs on my 740 once just to stop the sag.

I am thinking of taking one coil out of the rear. It will either look nice or be to low. The nice part is if it is to low it can be raised with a spacer.

Start with 1/2 a coil then.

You don't want to so low that you have tire rub in dips on the road. Maybe you can look into some skirting, that really adds the sporty look.

Be careful cutting the coils off. The one set I did was bigger in the end. When I would go over bums the bump stop assembly would fall down in the spring. I had to keep putting them back up like every week.

Make sure whatever coils you cut off are dead on the car.

And if you cut coils your supposed to trim the bump stop.

I wont make any moves for some time. I will wait a good month before entertaining the thought so the springs can break in.

All I am after is to catch my Celica from the late 80's. I ran a 13.6 quarter mile. If I can get in the 13's I will be a happy man.
