Seat Belt Retractor Problem
The driver side seat belt is locked in the extended position. The retractor does not wind the belt anymore. My 1996, 850 had a airbag sensor attached to the retractor. According to a Volvo dealer, the replacement part cost $290+.
Where can I get a used retractor with the sensor? There are retractors for 850 available without the airbag sensor for lot less than the price stated above.
Is it safe to install one without the airbag sensor?
