Default Servicing my 850 5sp shifter and have some questions

Since I am replacing the ball seat on my 850 I wanted I know while it was apart if I should consider replacing any other bushings? I'm ordering the short shifter kit while I am at it. I was curious in past experience do the various bushings usually wear out over time? A fwd is new for me. My other manual tranny vehicles (a Samurai and Camaro) have a lever sticking up from the tranny. Thanks

Oh, also is the shift **** reusreplaced should it be replaced? If replaced what is a direct fit type? In my experience the universal fits means fits absolutely nothing correctly

Get the delrin shifter bushings from SNAAB and the solid shifter cable bushings. Then you'll have zero rubber bushings left on the shifter set up.

Skyhi,
How do you remove the ball seat? does it snap off, pry off, pull off, or are there retainers holding it down somewhere? thanks
