Shaking under acceleration (Many problems!)
Hi everyone,
Lately my volo 850 turbo wagon has been shaking (all the car) under accelaration, especially when the turbo reaches high pressure and I don't know what's the reason it is doing that. It also has a sound coing from under the car, I dont know if it comes from the turbo or the escape. I can hear it when i am driving and car reaches 2000 rpm but after that it dissapears, and when I open the hood I dont hear the noise coming from there. I was wondering if these two things are related. Also it seems that the turbo is not keeping pressure. When I accelerate the turbo gauge goes up and down, it is no steady. I also can see smoke coming from the back of the engine but I really don't know exactly from where it is coming out.
Do you guys have any ideas what could be wrong with the car? Head gasket? turbo? I don't know what to do...
Thanks,
Paco

Thanks for replying... Is there a way to fix the flex pipe? or the only thing to do is replace it?
Other thing, I open the hood last night and I saw some of the spark plug wires and the coil wire lighting, almost glowing... Could this be causing the shaking?

Glowing? that means hot, are you sure you dont mean Arching, sparking? If you have a dead cyclinder that would display as low power and a shaky engine. Sounds like you may want to pursue a Stage 0.
I lost a spark plug, or better to say it as it went dead under load. The engine would run fine but when I got on it I would feel a shaking and not as much power. It was my plugs missing. I replaced them with Iridiums and IPD wires, bosch cap and rotor and the problem was gone.

Thanks for replying.... I saw them glowing last night, didnt see spark, but I only notice it on the coil wire and one other wire... but it was like intermittent, didnt see spark and it didnt shock me when I touched it.
I think right now I am running with Champion spark plugs, but it didnt show this problem before. and the problem is not always. just sometimes, thats why I dont know what could it be... I can also hear a clicking noise coming from the Ignition Coil and there is also like a light coming from inside of it.
And I dont know what a Stage 0 is. Would you explain it, please?

A Stage 0 is a full tune-up.
I dont know what to say about a spark plug wire glowing. I have never heard of such a thing. It still sounds though like you have a serious ignition issue. Regardless of the other things that are happening. What you are describing should not be happening.

Sure sounds like your ignition coil is arcing internally; time for a new coil.
