Hey everyone,

So I just picked up a 94 850 and I cant shift gears without pushing in the shift lock button. Any idea how to fix this. I have parts car so Ill take it outta there.

 

Try swapping over the shiftlock microswitch and solenoid.

Under the center console on the shifter assembly.(passenger side)

 

Does anyone know if the microswitch on the turbo's and N/A's are the same? FCP's refers to a turbo and manual transmission for the one they sell. My auto transmission won't switch out of park without hitting the shift lock. Cheers

 

I would say they are the same.
