Default Shifter release

I have to use the override button to get out of park. Where is the sensor by the pedal located so i can either fix or replace it?

I had the same problem with my car, i just removed the solenoid coil because that is what was faulty and not the microswitch.

The only downside of removing the solenoid assembaly is that you can take the shifter out of park at any time even without a key in the ignition

take the center console off so you have access to it and you'll see the solenoid coil there and just remove it and the little white gear thingy that it operates.... it's fairly simple... the hardest part it removing the console and there's instructions for that on a stickey thread in this(850) forum
