Default This should work, right?

After Monday's ice storm, my car was essentially a block of frozen water. In my haste to not be late this morning, I got a bit overzealous with my ice-scraper. I ended up taking a small chunk out of the rubber trim at the top of the windshield (or is it a seal? I didn't look too closely and was afraid to cause further damage). When I got home, I realized that I had also managed to peel the rubber up a bit. However, I could press it down and it would look perfectly fine.

Anyways, I was wondering if superglue would repair the damage. If not, would something like Silicone be good?

I would try some silicone. If what you tore was the weather seal for the windshield then if you don't get it sealed properly then you run the risk of getting water inside the car.

I personally would try windshield seal/weather strip repair kit kind of stuff, something should be available at an auto parts store.

Any other opinions? It's really small, but I want to get it done right.

However, the nearest Walmart is 3 miles away, compared to 25 miles to Napa and 30 to Autozone. Silicone would much less of a hassle.
