How do i gain access to the rear of the side marker signal light mounted on both fenders on an 850 wagon? Is there an access gate or something? Do I have to remove inner fender to get access?

the light i am refering to is the one on the side where the volvo logo is moiunted in some cars and looks similar to this

Insert a thin feeler blade under the front edge of the lens and depress the internal lug. When the lug releases free the lens from the rear and withdraw from the wing (fender).

Put a piece of tape on the side of the feeler blade that is against the paintwork to avoid scratching.
