Silicon hoses

For the guys that have used them, how did you get them on? I was advise to use heat to loosen them up a bit to get them on, I don't want to ruin them.

just replaced a funky vac. hose today - had to stick one end in hot water and it slid right on.

mikeori: i think he means intercooler hoses, not vacuum hoses. I used hot water to get mine on. No problems. Sure its a tight fit and you have to do some cramming, but thats kinda the point.

This took me two days to get these on I couldn't drive the car cause I had taking all the hoses off. Short version it kicked my AZZ but me and the wife got them on with a butter knife and motor oil
