Default Spark plugs....which ones?

1995 850 wagon NA 180K miles
Seems to be varied views on the plugs. I need to do a change: Plugs, wires, cap and rotor... The only variable seems to be 'which plugs'? FCP offers several types, etc..
What do you all suggest?

Bosch for Non-turbo, Champion for Turbo. Just looked it up in my Volvo Owner's Book. People here complain about using plugs not endorsed by Volvo.

just changed my plugs today too,was gonna do wires too but 130$$$ wtf,, is that right? 130 bucks for wires. And how would I know if I need wires? Car starts fine and drives good, is there a test to determine the voltage that runs thru it?

I had the iridiums in for a week. I was getting high rpm misfires and was baffled. Had several people recommend going to OEM and changing the gap to .026. Problem solved. Runs great.

thats pretty much what i expected. I've heard of people running them for a week or 2 and pulling them out to find no electrod left at all... Its nice when they cost 10 dollars a pop and they last a week... Im shocked that you've had them last for 6 months shelby. let us know if new ones help your running issues.

Also nice find with IPD selling the OEM wires for 50ish dollars... better then FCPs price even... (too bad they dont do free shipping over a set price though)

I'm in the market for plugs too. OEM is just not exciting but will do

Ok, i understand that these crazy firestorm spark plugs would be bad for the auto industry so they'll never be produced. But Sooooo want ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abwXApkLhbc

PLASMA IGNITION! bwahaha! http://www.okadaprojects.com/usa/products.htm
impressive but $$$ not even offered for anything other than Beemers, or scoobydoos

Put in new Champion spark plugs 2-3 months ago. Didn't gap at the time, because couldn't find the gapping tool in my garage. My CEL had come one a couple of weeks ago (Knock Sensor code). Re-opened the plugs on the weekend. Found them all at .043 gap. Broke one, put in the new Champions ones, after gapping correctly to .026. CEL went away. Car's running does not feel any different though.
