Speaker wire confusion
I'm replacing my dash tweeters and unfortunately the previous owner has let the connector for the left dash speaker to fall down...long story short - i can't get it out, so I'll cut the wire and make my own connector.
Question now is...which wire? When I remove the dash speaker I see two wires - RED/WHITE and YELLOW/WHITE.
I checked a diagram that said:
Front Speakers 5 1/4" Doors
Left Front (+) Blue/Yellow
Left Front (-) White
Right Front (+) Gray/White
Right Front (-) Gray
Rear Speakers 6" x 9" Rear Deck
Left Rear (+) Yellow/Brown
Left Rear (-) Yellow/Green
Right Rear (+) Green/Brown
Right Rear (-) Green
So where the hell did these two wires come from?
Also jsut to make sure - the front speakers are series wired, right?

The speakers in the front are all wired separately and the dash tweets are wired to the head unit whether your 850 has a factory amp or not. If your not sure of the wire color pop the radio out of the dash and have a look. The 14 pin connector has the power and ground input wires and also the dash tweet leads.

1-+12 VOLT IGNITION WIRE

2-GND
12-SPEAKER RF-
3-+12 VOLT BATTERY WIRE
13-SPEAKER LF+
4-DASH LIGHT DIMMER WIRE
14-SPEAKER LF-
5-Power Antenna Turn On
15-SPEAKER LR+
9-SPEAKER RR+
16-SPEAKER LR-
10-SPEAKER RR-

The dash speakers are on the 14 pin connector, the speakers in the door are on the 10 pin connector (unless you have a factory amp).
