Default Spoiler Installation Question

Purchased a spoiler for my sons 96 850 GLT. It is an OE from another 850. It did not come with mounting hardware. It has the wiring but not any bolts etc. My question is what type and size of bolt do I use to install it. Come on Tech I know you know the answer to this.

Default RE: Spoiler Installation Question

The spoiler mounts with some kinda U shaped brackets. The brackets mount to the spoiler itselfwith a couple of torx head screws. Once those screws are tightened down it clampsthe bracketsto the rear deck. I tried to pull up a part number but VADIS shows it as a kit that includes the screws, the "anchorage" and the pads that it mounts on butit gave no part number. Your dealer can get you the part number if you show them what you have.

You will need to get new trunk lid shocks with the spoiler to make it work right due to the weight difference.

Yes the brackets clamp and also the pads are double sided stick tape.
