I recently purchased a '95 850 n/a 5 speed and shortly after getting it home the starter bit the dust, or so I thought. A friend of mine came over and helped me replace it, and it still won't start. The battery's fully charged and there's power going to the starter, but it only clicks once then nothing. We can bump start the car and it runs great, but then I'm back to square one after shutting it off. Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

It sounds like a faulty ignition switch, a known issue on the 850s. If you wiggle the key when you try to start it, does it seem to help?

 

you can go to a pick and pull junk yard and get the stuff you need for about 35 $ i just got a starter from a front ender i think it was a v70 got it for 30 $ took it and had it tested - the guys at advance auto said it was brand new - might last me 10 years
