Ok....so i noticed today that when i have the a/c on it makes a funny noise....so i popped the hood and found out the noise is coming from the passenger side.
Its almost like its trying to kick on.....then doesnt.....then tries.....then doesnt.....

it sounds something like (errrr= read noise) errrrrrrrrrr click.......................errrrrrrrrrr click..............errrrrrrrrrr click..............and so on

so anyone have any ideas?

im new to the Volvo world....not new to fixing cars tho....

 

Sounds like a bad AC compressor to me. Does the cabin get cold when you turn the AC on?

 

yea it does...i think...my fiance drives it
