Does it change if you put it in neutral and let it coast while driving?
Does it change when turning? etc.
sorry haven't been on lately. i jacked the car up and both from wheels span the same and both back wheel span the same freely there was slight noise from the brakes but think this was due to the car not being used for few days and slight coating of rust was on the disks. after driving it more i noticed it does seem to get slightly louder from 30 to 60 after 60 my exhaust makes to much noise lol not sure if it changes round corner but its no different with the clutch in or out. whats the worst it could be?
Wheel bearings are usually slow to show their failure and can take a while to get bad. When mine started going bad, I took a 1,500 mile road trip and it still wasn't real bad when I got back.
i have recently had the o/s/f knuckle replaced or hub carrier not sure of it real name was a genuine volvo part could it be some thing to do with this my old one had a crack where the bottom ball joint sits in the knuckle/hub carrier.
