Struts/springs for 96 wagon turbo
I have a 96 wagon turbo car and I plan to keep this car for years. WhenI go camping, the rear sags some and I want to eliminate this. I do load the car and carry 4 bikes plus a Thule cargo box on top.
Looking to improve ride (sport feel) and handling. Looking at the Boge (loved them on my old Audi 90Q), Koni, Koni FSD, and the Bilstein TC. Also, looking at the front strut brace and the rear brace. Do you think these are also worth doing?
So what struts are good for my application? Don't really want to lower the car because I go to trail heads for camping. I do want to take out some body roll, and I do want to eliminate the rear sag when loaded.
All suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Get some new swaybars from IPD
Heavy load springs... they will raise the rear end when the car is unloaded though.
Sway bar will do more. I've heard the rear one doesn't do squat, you also loose the 3rd row seat if that's important to you. I've got a front one, it's nice.

I run the same as dry- bought some new goodyear assurance 205/55/16's and had them fill with nitrogen so the pressure would be stable. Can't remember the pressure, just bought a few months ago. Jusst got 5k on the tires and they are going in for rotation and check. They are H rated as I gave up on the speed part of my life.
OK I ask because Volvo has two tire pressure specifications, the higher pressure one is what is used for fuel econ and heavy loads such as 5 people and cargo.

I will have to check when I get home tonight. My understanding is that they aired them to the max rating of 44 lbs as listed on the tire.
The Koni Yellow Ajustables ones are good from what I hear. I'm on stock shocks. Bilstien TC and HD are also good from what I've heard

I was trying to say Billstein Touring is a choice of many, but with you loading Koni's might be a better choice. This is just an opinion based on reading posts, not actual experience at all.
When I replaced the suspension lastfall I went with the OE Bilstein HDs.
I still have the stock springs and the ride is firm(which I dont mind)but when loaded up the ride is very smooth.
