I think this is the first case that could happen to anybody. So I was driving home late to night and all of a sudden I heard this pop and bang. I thought I ran over a branch or something and was dragging under the car. So when I finally got home I look around the car if anything got caught. But behold to my surprise the left corner headlight had pop out and was banging and dragging along the left side of the car. Turns out the spring that holds the assembly in place had broken off the corner headlight. Stupid fragile plastics. Now the fender and bumper is all scratched up and chipped of paint and I have to get a new corner headlight!

 

Damn man, that sucks. There's an 850 turbo wagon in the local junk yard right now - I can check to see if the corner lights are still in it and grab it for you while im there this weekend if you want.

 

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm just going to get a new one instead. In my opinion, plastics have a certain expire dates on them. Once they get old, they get brittle, and I do not want to take that chance again.
