No need to make fun lol but what is the difference between a 850 t-5 or an 850 r cuz i have an 850 but it doesn't say t5 or r or anything it just says 850 turbo.???

 

Correct me anyone if I am wrong.....The 850 Turbo badging was pre 1997. In 1997 Volvo renamed "Turbo" to "T5". As for the difference of the T5 to T5R the difference is the front fascia (bumper cover) the T5R has the foglight holes the T5 does not. As for other changes the computer is tweaked in an 850R making the BHP 240HP over the T5 which is 221HP. Hope this helps.
