Default Tech, newbie Volvo owner has question!

Hello Tech. Do you know anything about leaking fuel injectors on 1993 850GLT models?
Car was running fine, parked it and went away for the weekend. Got back, tried to start-cranks but nothing else.
Checked for spark then fuel pressure both good. Pulled plug, had drop of gas on it. Hmmmmm.......
Pulled another and another- all the same.
Cranked over without plugs to clear flooded condition. Woah!!!! Old faithful from 2 mabey 3 of the cylinders. (Wife wasn't to happy as she was sitting in front of the car keeping me company- "oops don't worry it will wash out")
Ran fine before. Sat for 2 days and cylinders filled up with gas??

Any help would be greatly appreciated from anybody.

It certainly isn't cheap. But at least injectors are an easy fix even for the fairly faint of heart. I guess there is the chance that the injectors got stuck open. It sounds weird that this would happen to more than one of them. You could pull them and send them in to be cleaned and flow tested. That usually runs 20-30 a pop and is about half or less than new injectors.

My Vote is the injectors are bad.

I have seen it a couple of times. Yes thay are expensive I think about $350.00 for the set. You have to replace them as a set because they are calibrated together.

Have you ever seen multiple injectors stuck open? Do you know what causes it?
It ran fine before I parked it for the weekend.

Do you have a place you prefer for parts?
I haven't had the car too long so the only parts I've ordered have been form IPD. They sell injectors but I didn't see them in a set.

Thanks Tech,

Yes i have seen more than one stick open.

I have always been at the dealer till now so im not really sure about where to buy them from.
I am supprised IPD doesn't sell them as a set. They should all be calibrated together.
