Unhappy Throttle arm linkage thing keeps popping off

On my T-5R the arm on the throttle linkage pops off every once in a while. When my foot slips off the gas pedal it always comes off. I got another one from a seller on eBay but it is even looser than my original one.

Where can I find this part please? The one on top is my original one and the bottom one is the one I got on eBay. It needs to pop on tightly onto the side coming from the gas pedal, both sides really. I can't put a tie wrap or zip tie because it might bind it up there and not lower the RPMs.

I also need the set screws for the door trim piece on the rear door on the driver's side for the 855R.

Paging RSPI....come in, do you got your ears on? Got these parts for me good buddy?

That happened to me one night on the way home, it really sucked. All I could think of was someone calling a tow truck and being towed to a dealer for that $20 part. $90 night tow, $125 shop time, $20 part, over $200 and the wasted time.

I got one from the junk yard for $3 I think. I should have those parts, pm me and I'll mail them to you.

Thanks guys, the dealer would still stock that part?

I will try another used on from RSPI first.

I got a brand new one from a dealership for 21 busks. I put it on and it feels loose too. The same side feels loose and as if it would pop off again. It is the lower end by the spring that comes from what looks like the air intake.

So that means that the ball that it pops onto has gotten smaller and I have to change that now?

"So that means that the ball that it pops onto has gotten smaller and I have to change that now?"

The original one was falling off, the ebay one fell off and the dealers feels loose, as odd as it sounds I'd borrow a caliper or micrometer from a friend and post the measurement and make one of us get curious enough to go out and measure ours.

Not sure what else could be wrong with it as I haven't seen a metal ball that's rubbed by plastic lose dimension. Same as hoods and trunk lift supports. The ***** always seem to last forever.

They all feel loose. Not suppose to be binding. I have a spare one because someone had me pick one up from the salvage yard then changed decided to get new one.

Loose or "free" I can understand and they shouldn't be tight but if they're falling off at times something is wrong.

Most used ones would be worn.
