timing belt
is it something that one can do themself or does a shop need to do it. Just got back fromt he volvo delaer to fix my breaks and they said that it need to be replaced sometime in the near future.
You can do it yourself if you are somewhat mechanical. I watche my son in law do it for me, and I will do it myself next time. The mark on the crank is very hard to see though. Other than that, it's not that tough. I don't have the greatest eyesight to begin, so seeing is a real chore for me.
