I have 195-60-15 on my Volvo, that's what was on it when I bought the car.
The gas door says 205-50ZR-16 So I went toa tire place to have 2tires balance and they refused to do it since the tires were not the same size as stipulated on the gas door?? and they said that, other than the size,the tires I have are H rated and should beV rated,
ObviouslyI went to another place and bought 2 new tires H rated and they didn'tmention anything about size and V rated .
I think that V rated tire in the USA with a speed limit of 65MPH is over doing it. I am sure That H rated tires are more than enough for the Volvos in USA.
The only thing I am concern about is when my daughtergo for the importation inspection in Canada, will they check the door and fail the inspection for that ????
Were the 205 an option, obviously someone replaced the wheels at some point.

 

Maybe someone swapped the fuel doors on the car.
Or the car for some reason came with the turbo rins on the car and someone swapped them out for those rims.

The 205/50 or 55 16's came on the turbo cars with the turbo rims.
Thats the size my white car has on it.

 

Your fuel door indicates a tire choice?

I thought they only described tire sizing...

And if your fuel door indicates ZR wouldn't it be for 150+ mph (I forget the speed for Z rated, but it's really really fast. typically for high perf cars.)

 

HI, Anyone has a fuel door (white if possible) that says tire size 195-60-15 on the sticker. I need it fast.

Try posting in a parts section (if this site has a forum that does that)... or just get the sticker from another fuel door (get any door that has the right stick) and swap them.

 

15s are for the N/as. This may be somewhat hard to find...

Why do you need it so quickly? Don't believe that shop's BS. Take it to Walmart if all else fails. They are cheap.
