Default TRACS switch what in the world is going on here...

Hello all, while replacing my switch lights with grain of wheat bulbs on my 96 850, I pulled out my Tracs switch and to my surprise the connector was detached & there was an interesting splice. The blue & yellow line was spliced into the green line. (then of course I reattached the connector because reasons.)

Now the TRACS OFF light is lit (it was not before)
Can anyone here tell me what the PO was trying to do here?
Can I get the TRACS OFF light to go out without removing the bulb?

Before I go any further I get the ABS light constantly & since repairing a severed sensor line I realized I'm one of the lucky many that have a failed ABS computer (which will be replaced soon)
I guess I should have left it disconnected, but I wanted pretty lights so bad!

Thank you all for looking this over & for any input you may have,
Harry

Repair the wires the way is to suppose to be then replace the ABS module. ABS module can cause ABS / Trac light.

Don't replace ABS module w/new! Either DIY repair or get rebuilt unit from MW
https://www.midwest-abs.com/ABS_Modules.php

Common issue on this vintage; broken solder joints.

I say repair the wires, and put in a different switch. It is possible that the old switch isn't working right and the PO just bypassed it.
