My neighbor has a V70 with a blown turbo that he's parting out, which is great because I need new tires. The V70 T5 has 205/55-16, but tire rack says to use either 205/50-16 or 205/55-15. Am I going to be fine?

Yes, you should be fine. That is one of the optional sizes for the Platinum edition.

I second that as I have a Platinum Edition and that is what I run.

 

Meaning, that is the size of tires listed on my sticker on the inside door of the gas door.
