Default V70R replica 18X8 wheels on 850 Wagon...

I really want a V70R but I'm a scavenger so I own a couple of 850 turbo wagons and wanted to put some cool wheels on but all of the choices seemed too flashy or just plain wrong. I found these replica 18X8 V70R wheels on eBay for $580 shipped. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-18...Q5fAccessories

Anyone try these wheels? I don't expect oem quality but thought the 850 wagon would look sweet with them.

I have never tried them but as long as they are DOT approved, they should be fine. Make sure the offset is going to work.

I would get them from IPD, they'll be a couple hundred more. And yeah, they're called pegasus, or pegs for short, come on all the R's between 04-07. And they're basically all the rage, everyone has those wheels on VS, they're slowly dying out though I think.

Ok, so when I asked the question about the wheels I had already bought them on eBay. Impulse buy.

Got them on the car today and they are killer. 18X8 and I went with 235/40/18 and they are just right. the 245 might be a little better but I'm super happy with the look. The rears need about 15mm worth of spacer but no big deal.

They came from Keystone. I'll try and post pics tomorrow night.

This forum is great. All of the guys at my work give me crap about liking Volvos. But I'm having fun fixing and driving them so...

Keystone= HUGE aftermarket body parts supplier... Like any chinese- made aftermarket appearance- related part... there tends to be large differences in quality from one part to the next. Hope they work out for you.

Good luck with them. As long as they don't bend easily, you should be fine with them. Post up some pictures of them when you get a chance.
