Default valve guide seals

i have blue smoke when i stop on my 96 850 turbo wagon
but after 30 sec the smoke is gone and drives great am i off with thinking valve guide seals do you guys have any other ideas
if i change the seals do i need any special tools to do the work
am i able to do it with just taking off the valve cover
thanks for looking guys this site is great lost of wonderful help

Have you changed the vent box and the lines yet?
If not I would start with them.

were is the vent box and what lines are you talking about sorry new to the whole volvo
scene

The vent box is on the front of the motor.
Here is a basic diagram of the system.

Valve seals rarely go bad on these cars.

Yes crank case pressure to high.
