Default Vibration?

When idoling in "Drive", the front portion of my 94 850 seems to vibrate somewhat. When in "Park" it seem to supside a little. But when driving, it's not noticeable at all. Could it be that the engine mounts need to be replaced? Car has 103K miles. Thanks again...

Thats what it sounds like is the mounts. There is one on the right side of the engine on the bottom. Also check the upper torque mount from the top of the engine.

Is their anyway to tell whether or not they are defective, i.e. cracking, etc? Thanks for your help in this matter.

The one on the right side find the mount on the subframe.Look from the bottom of the mount if the rubber looks really clean and new looking. Then it might be bad what happens is it bounces off the subframe and the rubber looks really clean. Also you can look in the middle of the mount from the side and see if the pin is bottomed out.

The top one try pushing the metal bracket to the side if it is broke the center of the mount will slide out of the outer part.

I have been told that if you haven't changed the trans fluid in a while it can cause the transmission to make a bit of noise and have a slight vibration. Just throwing that out there.

Try this link:

I bought brake pads from them for a real good price. It's a Volvo dealer.
