I've got a 1995 volvo 850 which i have had for about six months and as long as i can remember the blower motor would completly shut off after a random amount of driving. To ''fix'' it i have to pull over to the side of the road and turn the car off then on again, it seems like the blower motor stays on longer when it is on the lower settings but eventually it will shut off again.

 

Any suggestions?

 

BLower motor itself, or possibly the heater resistor. Quite possibly the fuse is weak also. Try putting in a new fuse first
