Question Volvo 850 Door Trim Off...

I got this message via PM. Guys, post them in the forum, you will likely get a quicker response from someone else and others will be able to find the post later and get their issue resolved.

Hello there. I recently purchased a 1995 850 turbo. The side trim was removed and put in the back. I am trying to reattach it to the car. There are some clips included but I can't seem to get then to snap into the actual trim. Also for the clip to attach to the car body how does that go? Thank you.

The clips do attach to the trim some how. Maybe you'll have to slide them in from the end. They may be broken.

Once you get that sorted out, you will align them to the holes in the door, put it in place then slide it back (or forward) to get them locked in place. Once in place you'll need to install the 1 screw in the edge of the door near the latch. It's hidden by a small plastic plug. If I don't find the instructions or video that I did a few months ago I'll make another one by tomorrow.

You may want to get another trip from the junk yard or somewhere. They should cost less than $10.
