I have a Volvo 850 T, when the tank has a quarter of tank left, and take a curve, if I want to accelerate there is no response at all, then when I end the curve and come to the coming straight, I get the power back. My car has no traction control, I got the fuel tank changed, and still the same problem. When the tank is full, I dont really have that problem, so Im still trying to figure out what could be the problem, any help would be greatly appreciated.

You had the Pump or Tank replaced?

 

I had the tank replaced, but no the fuel pump. I might try doing that.

 

Any link where I can get that pump on the internet ?.

I had a tank replaced and found that it wasa no name brand and didnt have baffles inside and taking corners with any gusto would produce exactly the problem you discribe. Baffles are in a proper tank to prevent just this type of thing.

I also parked the car on a slight angle in a friends drive way and the car wouldnt start and had to push it to level ground for the fuel pickup to be back in the fuel.

This may be the problem.
