Volvo 850 - Replace with Rebuild Tranny
Has anyone replaced a tranny on a 850? Mine is a 850, 2.3L, turbo charged.
I am seeking information on reliable suppliers that offer a good price and warranty.
I believe some special tools are required. Any tips or challenges related to the replacement would be highly appreciated.

we just bought this '94 850 [named helen] a couple days ago.
the tipping point was that it has a recently rebuilt transmission from AAMCO.
the receipt in the glove box indicates $1900, but the guy at AAMCO said the previous owner got a deal as a friend of a friend or something like that. ask for mike at the greely AAMCO
