Default Volvo 850 Turbo 1996 Rear Suspension Refresh - Anyone Done It?

Hey hey!

Still driving this car after 11 years!

I just got done rebuilding the front suspension and would like to do the rear but am having issues finding what really needs to be done to get it back to great. I looked over the stickies and didnt see it covered and Robert doesnt seem to have a video on this one so I looked at the documents from Volvo and Im still not sure what I need to order.

Has anyone done this recently or seen a good write up or video? Perhaps this will have to be my first entry into the database. :-)

Thanks!

the rear suspension has the delta link bushing that will need to be replaced from time to time. If you are living in a rust belt area (ie salt on roads in the winter) you should also inspect where the bolt goes through the body to the bushing - I had to have both sides welded up on my 850. The bushing slides into the control arm which requires a press tool to remove (I had mine done at a shop) but I've read some posts where you can drill out the plastic sleeve to get the bushing to slide out.

Probably would get B4 Bilstein's. Installed them on Queen Bee, feels like the rear has disappeared.
