Car was towed to mechanic

I am at work in boyfriends truck

Title is at home in paperwork.

I am trying to get this ordered ASAP. I have had my car repaired at dealership MANY times. Why are they being so difficult? Anyway around this?

Is the car at the dealership or an indie mechanic? Tell them to look at the registration that you should have in the car. That should be proof enough.
If that doesn't work, see if they can order the part today if you provide proof of ownership before they install or you pick it up.

 

Dang, what a bunch of tight wads. If they are so worked up about it why dont they call the police and have the Vin run.
I personally would not give them my business. Not to mention, if your car is financed the bank is going to have the Pink and getting a copy would not be fun.
