Hi all,

My '97 850T wagon does not have the stock 16" wheel size, rather the rims are now 15" and the funky steel variety with plastic wheel covers installed by a previous owner. I have a chance to pick up 4 nice 15" stock alloy rims from a '96 850 sedan.

My current tires are 205 60 R15 and the alloy rims are holding 195 60 R15 tires. Does anyone know if the alloy rims will accomodate the wider 205 tire size ?

BTW, since my tires are brand new, replacing rims and tires is not an option at this time. ~Thanks

 

shouldnt be a problem at all - the difference in width is less than half an inch.

I agree. Also, you can take your new tires and get them mounted on the nicer rims.

 

sure wish I could take those 15's off your hands so i could use them for snow tires....
