Default washer hose after filter

ive looked around to try and find the answer but i havnt found it. the hoses from the washer system got ripped apart from an collision from a previous owner. am trying to get things working again. there are 2 hoses coming out of the filter the both are cut after about 4 inches, so one of them goes to the washer sprayers on the hood, but i dont really know what the other goes to. the new filters ive searched for only have one exit port. and pictures ive seen in haynes and online look like there are 2 hoses that just are open ended that are mounted to the body next to the hood latch.

any hint as to what the 2 hoses from the filter are would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

The other goes to the headlight washers (if equipped) and yes there should be two breather hoses clipped to the firewall which do nothing.

thanks

if there arent headlight washers, would it be plugged?

also , where are the breather hoses coming from? i was thinking that the second hose from the filter would be a breather, perhaps, but i guess the 2 breathers are a new mystery.

My breather hoses are coming out of the top of the washer bottle, I would assume if you dont have the headlight wash system that would be plugged, or you would have one of those filters with only one outlet.

Ok first apologies for getting it wrong. I have dug through the mass of wiring in that corner of my car, and one of the breather hoses is coming off the filter. The other breather hose attaches to the top of the washer bottle about 3 inches forward of the filler tube.
