Under the spark plug cover between the 2&3 or 4&3 cylinders not positive. There is a hole or something I have no idea what belongs in that spot. I'm stumped as to what this could be.

This and some Vac lines are the last part of this engine swap puzzle I embarked on, I'm excited to drive my first volvo

 

The only hole I know up there is a breather tube...part of the PCV system. You should have a hose on it that goes down to the PCV under the intake manifold.

 

This is the area I'm talking about, it may be nothing. I'm just concerned because it seems to go into the head and my spark plug cover is broken.

 

The pcv system is missing. Other than that, all looks present.

right on yeah i was wondering about that same hole. nice choice. i recently aquired my first 850 turbo. and have excited to work on it and even more to drive it lol
