Question What kind of Volvo wheels are these...

Some guy near me said that he has a set of Volvo wheels that came off of a '97 940. My question is, does anyone know if these are Volvo wheels? If so, what size are they? Will they fit my 850 or S70? Thinking about using them as a spare set.

Grrrrrrrrr. I guess they are to small for my taste. Maybe my daughter would like them for her S70.

Would it be hard to find some kind of center pieces?

Nahh, it shouldn't be to hard. I found the 1970's hubcaps for a 240 once on ebay, so It shouldn't be too hard. Its just a matter of being patient while searching through several pages online. If the price is right on those definitely snag them. If your looking for something for you just search a little on ebay, you might be pleasantly surprised with what you find. I'm sure you've also seen the beautiful wheels on IPD. Good luck!

Here's a listing a center cap on ebay:

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

Hit junk yards to find center caps. If you want, I'll be glad to keep an eye out for you when I go...and I can pm you if I find any. You'll pay whatever I pay for them if you want them...its not like they are a lot of work to remove or ship.

That eBay link goes to the center caps that went on my 740. That gives me hope. The guy wants $50 for all four of them.

That's because the 960's had FWD offset rims even though they were RWD cars. Those look more like the BBS 15" rims that came on the 93 240 Classic which is def. a RWD 20-25mm offset, they are not off of a 97 940 as the seller states as the 940 ended production (in NA) in 95.

They are off of a 240 i have a set nice and clean holding on to them for a project in the future but the center caps should be easy enough to find
