Can anyone tell me what this is? I'm new to 850's and I have no idea with this hose is.
It was like this when I picked up the car. The cruise control did not work at all and I found a vacumme hose elbow open just forward of the firewall which allowed the cruise work a little. A little means that it engages about 3 to 4 mph below what I set it and it has a 5 mph range while it is engaged.

There should be a nipple at the bottom of the intake hose (the big hose in the picture) where this tubing to go to. but, I am trying to imagine that someone might have ended up breaking that nipple and minght hae improvised this orange link to connect this tubing to intake hose. So, this orange thingy might have to go into a hole on the underside of the intake hose that was left by broken nipple. Just try to feel a hole on the bottom side of the intake hose very close to where this tubing is and push this connector in there.
