Default Wheels 16" Satellites-Comments

Since I want to stay with 16" wheels I ran across a set of 4 16" Satellite rims last night. Thinking highly of making them my summer wheels.

Are they any negative sides to having these wheels, like are they softer in construction compared to other wheels?

I currently am running Columbia's (16") and would make them my winter wheels....However....

I want to do the 302mm brake upgrade and someone posted the Columbia's won't clear the bigger brakes. Has anyone tried this and can confirm the design of the Columbia interferes with the brake upgrade.

Thanks for both comments.
Cheers

Columbas don't fit over 302s without some grinding down on the caliper first. Satelites I believe are one of the 16s that does fit, along with Perfos.

Gilber33,
How much grinding do y ou think would need to be done? OR, is a better plan to scrape the Columbia's wheels altogether for snow wheels and go with something that filts with the 302 brake upgrade.

thanks for your opinion.
