Where to check fuel pressure and how much
All,
I'm having trouble with intermittent fuel problems. Where can I hook up a fuel pressure gage, and how much should it measure for a 850GLT 2.4L non-turbo?
Thanks,
Ed

No, the schrader valve exists to allow you to connect a gauge? Any gauge connector should engage the schrader valve to display pressure on the gauge.
Think of it the same way there is a schrader valve in a tire valve stem.

There is a YouTube video where a guy did use a home made gauge. He removed the schrader valve, clamped the hose on the stem, them cranked it up to check the pressure. I would think that it would be best to get a gauge that would screw on the end of the valve and crank the car that way.
For those who don't know.
The valve is at the drivers end of the fuel rail. It's easier to get to if you remove the cover for the throttle linkage.
