Default window and mirror switch console

does anyone know how to remove the console between the seats where the mirror and window switches are? im assuming i use a small flathead screwdriver and it will come up

If you want to remove just the switches a small screwdriver will pop them free. If you want to remove the console there is a bit more to it. A new owner in England snapped some pictures of his console removal here:

He was changing some lamps and you need to wade through a bunch of other stuff in the thread to get to it. Oh ya, his car is backwards but the same things apply.

quick reply thank you

i assumed the switches press into the back of the plate they are sitting in, not that each switch pops out individually. problem is a coke spilled and a little got under there.. figured the whole unit came out together
