Default 2004 S40 T5 passenger window and side view mirror will not operate.

Hello!
My 2004 Volvo S40 T5 passenger side window and side view mirror adjustment will not operate.

-no sounds
-drivers side switch and passenger side switch fail to operate the window.
-I checked fuse and it is not blown.
-since it is two functions it leads me to believe it is some sort of electronic issue and not mechanical (regulator, etc.).

Any suggestion on how to troubleshoot and repair?

Thanks!

u need to hook up a scanner (Vida) to see if any code. check if the temp. reading right & if the door mirror function too. there are possible both the door harness are faulty.

We own 2005 volvo S40i. My wife went shopping this morning and when came back to the car, all the windows were down. Any ideas on what may have caused all the electric windows to wind all the way down?
