Default Window and sunroof problems

First problem is my driver side window. Something seems loose in the window track and is causing the window to bind when it gets close to being closed. Sometimes I need to push the window up the rest of the way so it is all the way closed. Is there any common problems that would cause this?

Second problem is my sunroof only opening about half way. It just stops like it hit something in the way. I also noticed within the past week that when closed, it is not sitting flush with the roof. I know it was fine when I got it 5 or 6 months ago.

Thanks for the help.

for the window you need a new window regulator (only like $20 shipped on ebay) and also a small plastic wheel for the window.

Maybe something is stuck in the sunroof track. Maybe you can find instructions to remove and re-install it to see of there any anything stuck in the track or if something is broken.

I tried taking a look at the sun roof today. I really cant see anything wrong, but I do not know what to look for. I took off the glass and the track moved back and forth fine. I put it back on and it still doesn't work right. I also noticed that the thing that slides open with the glass does not want to close all the way. I also can not get the glass adjusted right, it seem like something is bent. Also, I can't really look back where the glass slides under the roof. Can I take off the headliner to get a better look?

Default Sunroof Problem

I would bet against the track being bent. Unless something has smashed in the roof like what happened on my 960, I cant imagine how it would get bent.

I would take the motor out. That should be easy. It is likely under the panel just behind the lights near the rear view mirror. Once you have the motor out, the sunroof should be able to slide open and close by hand. Possibly something got into the track or something broke in there.
