The remnants of Rosa hit Western Colorado. Her arrival coincided w/the wipers not working on the 850. The DW was not pleased.

The arm is twisting on the wiper motor's arm. The right side moves, but not the driver's.

IOW, the arm is loose on the motor. Is there a way to tighten it up?

 

check if the rod piece is cracked or just needs to be tightened or shimmed.

 

I pulled the arm and wire-brushed the motor rod....cleaning out the knurls and then washered it on top and so-far so-good.
