here's a thought - check if the 850 AWD (turbo right? the AWDs never came to the states until the V70 model so there's not a lot of info) and 850T share the same exhaust manifold - if so you can read up on interchange for the 850Ts where there should be more info. I recall there being something about the EGR port - but not sure which year/model that was for so look around the board on that topic.

the manifold will work fine. What you need to watch out for is the EGR port. If you have one now, you need a manifold with one. If not, then you dont but the manifold is the same.

When I switched to an 'R' manifold I had to add an EGR port.

Look for the EGR valve near the intake manifold.

If it is an 850R and not a 850 T-5R then you do not have an EGR. Meaning 96' or newer.

97 850 AWD. i looked around the throttle body yesterday and i did not see a EGR. When i did the PCV a couple weeks ago i did not see it either. would a japanfold be better than the R manifold or they the same just differant makes for them?

the 16T upgrade from ARD was what i was planning to go along with the R manifold. Just have to find a 16T to rebuild. are you running any gauges aside from a boost gauge? any recomendations?
