Volvo 850 Made from 1993 to 1997, this Volvo line was available in both a wagon and a sedan, both with were graced with several trim levels.

would you buy this?

I am new to volvo's and would like to get some opinions.

the price seems high to me. That is a base 850, no turbo. I don't think that they made an 850 in 1998 so the seller got the year wrong. I would not pay more than 1500 bucks for that car, if that much.

I wish I knew. Called to look at it yesterday and the guy gave me the run around. Told him I had cash in hand and I lived two hours away. Said come back today or sat. I dont want to deal with the guy anymore now. Its a shame because I really like the car.

Looked like a nice car. Not sure why they took 4 pics of the drivers side and none of the pass side.

I think $2,500 to $3,000 is ok for a real nice Volvo. Heck, I recently sold a '95 for $6,000. At best it's a '97, the '98's had a different body.
