yaayyy flashing arrow!
Hey guys I've had a rough idle ever since I got the (94 855t) and today I started the car and pulled my tps while the car was running because I have a code for it... The car didn't really change at idle even when i gave it some gas so i plugged it back in and went inside to shut the car off and all pilgrim the sudden the arrow is blinking I shut the car off and restarted it and it was still there. I didn't try and drive the car just went inside... Gettin really frustrated with it right now. I have had a check engine light ever since i got it I probably have 8-10 codes I've truer clearing them but when you hold the button the light stays on while you hold the button... How do you clear the codes on a 94? And is the flashing arrow due to me pulling the connector on my tps? I also have a srs light on don't know what that is but maybe you guys can help me before I blow this god damn car up!!
The flashing arrow means the transmission has a fault code and is in limp home mode.
Pull the code from the diagnostic block (A1)
And the SRS light means an error code in the air bag system, pull the code from B5 on the diagnostic block.
Post the codes and maybe we can help.

I have a PNP switch if you need it. Let me know. A new one doesn't cost that much. Rolling the shifter is very temporary, plan on doing something soon.

Hey,
Just piggy-backing on this thread, my 95 GLE is having transmission issues as well. Sometimes I get the light but no limp mode and recently I get limp mode. Using the A1 port, I'm getting codes 3-1-3 and 3-2-2. My Haynes manual doesn't have those codes. Anyone know what they are and if it can be easily fixed without taking it to a tranny shop? cheers.

3-1-3 incorrect signal from gear position sensor
3-2-2 Incorrect gear ratio for given road speed
found that with a bit of google searching. Would a faulty gear position sensor be what's causing the 3-2-2 code. Assuming replacing the sensor would rectify both?
also, since its intermittent, or atleast used to be, could it just be a dirty connection? If the sensors tend to fail immediately as opposed to slowly, a simple clean would save some headaches assuming I can locate the sensor
