Mine didnt have the titans when i bought it either, but im fine with the volans till I get my comets

 

Bought mine with 3 of the 4 Titans. All better now. Speaking of which, what am I to do with this other Volan.......

 

Put it in the for sale area. Many people are looking for them.

I did not get the original wheels with my T5R.

 

Get a set of Volans for it. There are a set for sale now for $650 with good tires.

 

I just picked up an extra set last week off ebay, one wheel bent I can hopefully get repaired.

Only one of mine came with the Titan rims, the other with volans.

Set on ebay for the price of used car. They are new though

I don't want to bend any wheels on these rough roads and I would rather have more rubber between me and the pavement too. They would look a lot nicer but the ride would be harsher right?

I worked at a Volvo dealership in 2001 and remember a guy had a yellow wagon T-5R in for service...we saw alot of cool cars in there but had no idea it was that rare. All the guys in the shop came and looked at it...noone drove it though

 

I would not have drove it either. You wreck it and you won't be able to replace it.

 

I helped a family member purchase a black T-5R wagon several months ago. We call it the "black banana" and has 215k miles!

The "black banana" drives like a rapped ape :P

I'll be taking pictures of the two T-5R when time allows

 

1. He can't register it in the US.
2. Passenger seat is broken.
3. It needs a valve cover.

Dude's trying to sell it for $6000? That's NUTS.

 

I think his problem is silly. When I was in the military, we use to ship those non compliant Japanese cars over here all the time. Practically had to rebuild the darn things. Install door braces, change seat belts, engine mods, etc. I'm sure this car meets US standards.

 

I don't think you can still legally import JDM cars no matter what you do to them nowadays, but I could be wrong. but I agree with RSPI, this car should meet standards

Doesn't look to bad. Needs wheels, foot rest, stereo, rear light, real deck light center piece, and some leather conditioner. Wish there were photos of the motor.
